*Update* If you haven't already booked a hotel most of them are SOLD out. Disney Coronado is still available and best priced. If these are too expensive I would recommend staying at one of a Disney Lake Buena Vista Hotels (They are located on hotel Drive which is right next to Disney Springs) I have stayed at many of these before, they do offer a shuttle to the parks. Hotel Plaza Blvd Hotels
If staying there you can take a bus or walk over to Disney Springs and catch the bus to Disneys Grand Floridan hotel.
If you are staying off property you can drive or have your UBER drop you off at Disney's Grand Floridian Wedding Pavilion and park there. The bus will then drop you off here at the end of the night and you can drive or catch your UBER from here. Again the bus is the ONLY way you can leave the reception to catch an UBER at any hotel.
I have so many things to share with you, but a lot will be updated once I receive more information from Disney World (they are large corporation )
First of all we are sooooo HAPPY that you are going to come share this day and experience with us at the happiest place on earth !
Be Our Guest ! Let's start with hotel accommodations. We are required to rent our own bus to transport our guest in and out of Epcot where the cocktail hour and reception will be held.
The 3 hotels we have chosen are all located in the same area, which will make it faster to get people back to their hotels from the reception venue.
Disney Pop Century, this is a great hotel its priced well and it's newly renovated. I stay here 80% of the time I come. It's located on one of Disney's new Skyliner stops. (The Skyliner takes you to and from Epcot and Hollywood studios) Pop Century Youtube hotel overview
Disney's Art of Animation, this is going to be a favorite for anyone who is bringing their children. It has themed rooms, Little Mermaid is one of the biggest room themes here. Then they offer family suites in themes of Cars, Lion King and Finding Nemo/Dory. These suites sleep 6 has two bathrooms a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. (Which might be great if you plan on having someone babysit the kids while you enjoy the late reception... more on this option later)Art of Animation YouTube overview
Disney's Caribbean beach hotel, this hotel is more on the moderate side. It is very nice and it the only hotel that is right at the Disney Skyliner entrance to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios. The other hotels you take the Skyliner to this pit stop and hop on the one you need to get to either park, basically it saves you a step. Disney Youtube Hotel overview
Honestly I recommend them all, there is something for everyone. If you have any questions please let me know. My dream is to be an OFFICAL Disney Travel Planner. Here is the direct link to reserve Disney Hotel Website
Please keep checking back to Disney website they drop the prices on the hotels usually. If you already booked one and see the price drop just call them and they will adjust the price !
I can show you the world...or give you some tips on your travels ;)
Arriving from Airport Disney use to have a free shuttle service but as of 1/1/22 it cost. Here is a link to the pricing: Mears Shuttle
This might be the best option for you if you have kids though. If your child doesn't require a car seat don't waste your time on bringing one. Children aren't require to have a car seat on Disney busses. Once you arrive to Disney property you can access all parks by bus or skyliner. There is no need to rent a car, unless you want to. You will have to pay for daily parking at the hotel, so you might as well avoid that. All the hotels have restaurants and shops to get anything you might have forgotten. If you are staying for awhile you can also have groceries delivered to your room. Like I said no need to rent a car and bring car seats if you don't need to.
"Some people are worth melting for" The weather in January can be tricky, during the day in the sunlight you'd be good with either shorts and a t-shirt or leggings and sweatshirt. I would pack a light jacket or sweatshirt for the night time. Same goes for the wedding I would make sure to bring a sweater for your dress ladies, same for you men a jacket won't hurt you.
Think happy thoughts... you came for a wedding and I hope you stay for some fun! Right now Disney has a park reservation system (due to covid) I am hoping this disappears soon. The good new is that THE BEST time to go to Disney is in January!! I am talking fewer crowds, less wait times more dinning reservations (I'll get to that) and plenty of park reservations. When you book your hotel it will ask you if you want to get a park ticket. You do not have to get a park ticket to rent the hotel, so do not feel obligated to. You can add those on later, esp since I will be given a code for $20 off a park hopper pass for my wedding guest. (Again I will circle back to that and post it when I have the information) If you want to go ahead and book, go for it!
